Basically, if someone has an intense feeling (e.g. “I shouldn’t go down that street” or “I shouldn’t drive today” etc.), can that actually be a sign or message from God? Like because He’s trying to keep you safe? Is it possible the feeling or thought is from God as opposed to just regular anxiety?
I have to do a 2 day clear liquid diet for a medical procedure this week. I’m curious if there is church teaching or practice for offering up a medically required fast for spiritual benefit? Or is this frowned upon since it’s not technically optional but something I’d have to do regardless?

My husband and I started OCIA last fall. I made a post semi recently about questions and doubts that had suddenly cropped up in my mind, that now I think were spiritual warfare, undoubtedly. After a couple of weeks of intense prayer and regular mass attendance, they went away, thanks be to God.
I got confirmed today and I think most of my Baptist family will follow. I can’t stop thanking the Lord for him inviting me to question things, to lead me, and to understand him better. God I can’t wait to see what you have next.
