One of my old favorites popped in my head today after a long time today. Still bumps in my whip and the message still hits as far as I’m concerned.
Saw CG live last night in Atlanta, was about 300 ppl, really energetic crowd. He seemed really genuine, after a few songs his wife came up and everyone sang Jireh by Maverick City, then it got lit again, and at the end he prayed over everyone and shared some good words encouraging ppl to follow Jesu
Just joined so I dont really know what the vibe is here but the top posts in the last year dont seem to have much about the up and coming guys like Caleb Gordon, Alex Jean, MTM Isaiah, RedTips and the like that are really growing and putting out sounds that are really creative and biblically sound.

I’ve seen a few videos lately describing him as gnostic but I don’t see it, he just seems like he views this whole thing on a deeper level than most mainstream Christian’s. There seems to always be a divide between the 99 sheep and those of us who were the 1 lost sheep…

I'm getting my feet wet with writing and recording just for fun right now but it's got me thinking about what actually would be good music for today's audience. Heres a couple things I've noticed that are areas the music has grown recently, along with places it needs to grow in:
Growth:
I feel like CHH is growing enough to have some pretty good artists that dont get a lot of love, so considering artists that have less than 50k monthly listeners who do you guys like? I'll put out Cellus Hamilton, Jay Rettna(even tho hes Brittish) and Travis Dupri
